Absolutely riveting with fantastic writing and direction. The plot was superb and the suspense killing. Another great play from BBC Radio 4.
Wonderful, wonderful stuff! Absolutely riveting, exciting and chilling. Can’t wait for tomorrow.
A MARVELLOUS, COMPLEX STORY THAT HAD ME GRIPPED TOTALLY.
Fantastic production values and a rich soundscape. Sometimes I think that radio dramas can sound a bit like they are recording in a vacum, but the drama in this play really came to life. Too often dramas are too simple, so it was nice to navigate through the complexity of this narrative. Great stuff.
‘severed threads’ could be a bit of a landmark, in radio broadcasting. it reminded me of a radio version of the 90s film ‘short cuts’ directed by robert altman.
Absolutely gripping!
One of the best dramas R4 has done in a long time. Completely compelling.
Oh this is wonderful, complex, layered and absolutely gripping. The music is brilliant. I can’t wait for the next episode
