Spy thriller set in Egypt goes into production

An original three-part spy thriller for BBC Radio 4, written and directed by John Dryden has started production. To be recorded in Egypt in September, THE RELUCTANT SPY is set in modern-day Cairo against the back-drop of the Arab Spring.

It will be broadcast on Radio 4 in November 2012 and will be the forth trilogy by writer/director John Dryden for BBC Radio 4 after A TOKYO MURDER, SEVERED THREADS and PANDEMIC.

The production is being co-produced by with Zad Communications & Productions in Egypt.
