FILIPINO KIDNAPPING DRAMA goes into production

Production has started on an original three-part drama for BBC Radio 4 to be recorded in the Philippines.

Developed with award-winning author Andrew Mulligan, whose novel TRASH has become an international best-seller, A KIDNAPPING tells the story of two British teachers at an international school in Manila who attempt to kidnap one of the children in their care.

The production, being made in collaboration with Manila based New Voice Company, will be made entirely on location with recording starting in early November.

It is produced by Nadir Khan and directed by John Dryden and will air on BBC Radio 4 in March 2014.
